Spreading Their Wings to Further Conservation

We are thrilled to celebrate this year’s IRLC Conservation Scholarship winners! These dedicated students have shown outstanding commitment to environmental conservation, and we are excited to see how they’ll use their talents to make a difference.

Cecelia Stewart, a three-year WHIRL (Water and Habitat on Indian River Lakes) program student from Carthage High School, will pursue Wildlife Science at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Jordis Wojcikowski, also from Carthage, will study Fisheries and Wildlife Technology at Finger Lakes Community College. Elijah McIlrath from Alexandria Central will embark on a journey in Environmental Engineering at Clarkson University. Jack Natali from Jefferson Community College will major in Ecology with a minor in Environmental Science at SUNY Plattsburgh, and Jamie Loeffler, also from JCC, will study Fisheries and Wildlife Science at Paul Smith’s College.

Congratulations to these inspiring young conservationists! Their passion for the environment and dedication to conservation efforts embody the mission of IRLC. We are proud to support them as they spread their wings and embark on this important journey to protect our natural world.
