Project WHIRL
July 7, 2025 - July 23, 2025
Project WHIRL is a unique summer program for teens ages 13-18 that combines outdoor adventure with real-world environmental science. Participants explore local lakes, wetlands, and forests while learning about conservation, water quality, and ecology through hands-on fieldwork and activities. It’s a fun and empowering way for young people to connect with nature, build skills, and become environmental leaders in their community.
Program dates: July 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24. (Limited spaces are available.)
All slots for the 2025 year are currently filled. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We are looking forward to a great summer.
This is a free program. We want to serve our students and our environment.
To keep this program sustainable, please consider a suggested donation of $300/student. (Ability to donate does not affect registration status in any way.)
