Autumn Walk and Talk

Join Sue Gwise, the Horticulture and Natural Resources Educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County, for a walk at talk at our Baker Woods Preserve.
The Baker Woods Preserve is a diverse habitat of deciduous and coniferous trees. The 3 mile hike will include tree identification and natural history, along with tips on reading the forested landscape.

To get to Baker Woods Preserve, take NYS Route 3 to Natural Bridge. Turn south onto Depot Street. Follow Depot Street as it veers to the left, crosses the Indian River and becomes Factory Road. Continue 2 miles and the small parking lot will be on the right.
(Parking lot is located near 4114 Factory Rd.)
