At IRLC, we are committed to protecting the land, water, and experiences that make the Indian River Lakes region so special. But right now, we’re facing a challenge: our resources are stretched thin, and we need to strengthen our foundation to keep moving forward.

That’s why we’re launching the “Get Ahead” Campaign—an effort to ensure IRLC has the funding we need before urgent conservation opportunities arise. Too often, critical projects are delayed while we secure funding, and in conservation, timing is everything. If we want to protect more land, expand our stewardship work, and ensure that the programs our community has come to love—like guided hikes, kids’ nature programs, and lake protection efforts—continue to thrive, we need to act now.
