What's New
Bob and Gail Wright, originally from Syracuse and Massena respectively arrived on Millsite Lake in 2011. After very successful careers with Bristol Myers-Squibb, Bob and Gail began their search for their second home in which to relax and spend summer hours on a lake. After many years of looking at properties in and around New York State they were introduced to Millsite Lake and fell in love with the beauty of this lake and the other Indian River Lakes.
They not only liked the beauty of the region but also the commitment of property owners to clean water, protected land, and genuine love of sustainment of our environment for current and future generations.
Bob and Gail immediately began to volunteer for not only the Millsite Lake Property Owners Association but also the IRLC and other community, food pantry and church organizations in and around the area.
And although the IRLC has been fortunate to have many generous donors over the years, Bob and Gails recent donation of $30,000, represents the largest ever received by the IRLC for its Scholarship program. When asked why they made this very generous donation to the IRLC, they both wanted to show support not only for the IRLC organization but also help the local communities by providing financial assistance towards continued education of our youth in the areas of environmental awareness and stewardship.
Bob and Gail’s legacy of giving to the IRLC and supporting the local communities in our area with their donation to our Scholarship program, truly meet the vision of giving to others in support of a healthy and sustainable environmental.
