Join us for a stewardship day at Ferrone Woods Preserve in Hammond. This beautiful, fairly new preserve needs your help as we create trails, install a new kiosk, and provide much-needed trail maintenance. All are welcome – bring a bagged lunch and meet us at the preserve sign between 200-300 Black Lake Road, Hammond, NY around 9:30 am. If you prefer to caravan, we’ll gather at the Indian River Lakes Conservancy offices at 43982 Stine Road and depart at 8:30 am. Come out and help us care for this special place!
