Indian River Lakes Conservancy (IRLC) will host its annual fall hike at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 13th at the Grand Lake Reserve in Redwood. The hike will be led by local nature enthusiast Greg Washburn and Geologist Chris Ebby, Ph. D.
The guides will present hikers with the unique geological features of the landscape and a history of the geological processes that created the local topography. They will also speak about the flora and fauna that live on the reserve.
Hikers who are unfamiliar with the reserve’s location are encouraged to meet at the IRLC offices at 43982 Stine RD, Redwood at 9:40 to caravan to the site.
